You have purpose — even in the in-between.

Many of us live in the liminal—a space that’s neither here nor there, a space of transition, of tension—the in-between. Our priorities, circumstances, career paths, and even faith seem to be constantly in flux, and we have more questions than answers. If you find yourself in this space, know that we’re here for you…with conversations and resources that can help you become more deeply rooted in your faith, even in the midst of ever-changing seasons.

Our team of regular contributors include practitioners from all over the career spectrum, along with those who hold terminal degrees in fields as diverse as biology, psychology, theology, education, medicine, international relations, law, community development, sociology, chemistry, business, and leadership. No matter their expertise or denominational affiliation, all our writers approach their subjects looking to use their expertise to harmonize with God’s values.

Many of our churches have conversations that include practitioners and peers working together around specific topics; whenever possible, we’ll share these conversations so you can engage in the conversation wherever you are.

Because we’re rooted in the local church, we’ve developed resources that are pre-tested by our communities, and have worked well enough that we imagine they might help you wherever you are. Whether they’re about starting the practice of Sabbath, or determining your values before you go through a transition, these will be aimed at keeping you rooted into practices that propel you toward the heart of God.
